How to create a sponsorship copy instruction

Sponsorship campaigns are not booked via Caria however it is possible to create and send sponsorship copy instructions (CRI) via Caria, in fact it is the preferred method of receipt. 

You can follow the steps below to create a sponsorship CRI: 

1. On the home page click on "Create"
2. The media type will default to Linear TV/VOD, change this to Sponsorship
3. Enter in the client name
4. Enter in the product name
5. Enter in campaign dates
6. Select first transmission month (if your CRI crosses multiple months select the first month)
7. Add clock numbers to your CRI in one of two ways
   • Select pre-existing clock numbers from the copy library
   • Enter in new clock numbers in the empty clock number box half way down the screen on the left hand side
8. The following fields need to be completed for Sponsorship CRIs:  
   • Copy Title - Mandatory
   • Stating if the copy is "Due" or "Held" - Mandatory
   • If "Due" you will need to select a delivery company and enter in an approximate delivery date
   • If "Held" you will need to select a delivery company and can optionally complete the "Last on Air" date
9. Add all clock numbers required for your CRI on Step 1, once entered press "Save & Continue"
10. On Step 2 you set-up detail blocks of information linking your clock numbers to stations, programming and positions. You can use this page to view some example sponsorship detail blocks: Example sponsorship CRI detail blocks
11. Once you have all your detail blocks set-up press "Save & Continue" 
12. You will be directed to the outbox and a pop-up will appear listing the traffic departments your CRI will be sent to
13. You can click on the "CRI Overview" tab to review all details before sending
14. Once you are happy with the CRI you can click "Send" on the right hand side of the "View/Send" tab
15. Delivery of CRIs are tracked in CARIA, once sent you can click on each individual traffic dept listing and view delivery information on the "History" tab

• Step 1 - Edit copy: You can add new clock numbers to CRIs, you will need to complete mandatory fields relating to copy delivery. If a clock already exists in CARIA you can add it from the copy library available in the top right hand corner. 

• Step 2 - Copy relationships: You can set-up detail blocks linking the copy to a station, programme and position. 

• Step 3 - View/Send: Review your CRI prior to sending on the CRI Overview tab and then send.
