How to set-up MFA at the point of login

To increase security CARIA is implementing multi-factor authentication (MFA), this will make it harder for  unauthorized users to access your account. 

To set-up MFA at the point of login, you can follow these steps: 

1. Enter your username and password on the CARIA login page
2. You will be prompted to set-up MFA and steps on how to do so will be displayed
   • Download an authenticator app on your phone
   • Once downloaded click to add a new account
   • Scan the QR code displayed
   • Enter the authentication code into CARIA
   • Copy and save your recovery codes (you can use these to login when unable to generate an authentication code)
   • Click 'complete set-up and login'
3. You will need to enter in your username and password again
4. Enter in an authentication code from the authenticator app and login

You won’t be able to access CARIA until MFA is configured.
