To increase security CARIA is implementing multi-factor authentication (MFA) - this will make it harder for unauthorized users to access your account.
To set-up MFA as an admin user who is already logged into CARIA you can follow these steps:
- Click on "Admin" in the top right hand corner
- Click on "Manage" within users
- Click on your name within the list of users (you can't enable MFA for other users)
- There will be an MFA toggle visible, click the toggle to enable MFA
- A pop-up window will display with steps on how to set-up MFA
- Download an authenticator app on your phone
- Once downloaded click to add a new account
- Scan the QR code displayed
- Enter the authentication code into CARIA
- Copy and save your recovery codes (you can use these to login when unable to generate an authentication code)
- Click 'complete set-up'
- Once MFA has been set-up you can either log out or stay in CARIA and continue working
You won’t be able to access CARIA until MFA is configured
