CRIs can be updated once they have been sent, new versions will be created and these can be sent to traffic departments with tracked changes.
A common change is updating or swapping copy either prior to the start date of the campaign or when it is in flight.
You can follow these steps to change a clock number in a previously sent CRI which has already started:
- Go to the "Outbox"
- Select the relevant copy instruction and click "Edit".
- Click on “Step 1 - Edit Copy”
- Click on "Add another copy item" and enter in the new clock number details. (you can leave all pre-existing clock number details in place)
- Press “Save & Continue”
- On "Step 2 - Copy Relationships" you will need to end date the detail block of the clock number that is currently running. Click "Edit" on the relevant detail block and enter in an end date of when you want the current clock number to finish
- Click on “Insert Detail Block” and add your new clock number from the "Add Copy" dropdown
- Enter in the start date for the new clock number
- Click “Save & Continue” and proceed to send the copy instruction
You can follow these steps to change a clock number in a previously sent CRI which hasn't started:
- Go to the "Outbox".
- Select the relevant copy instruction and click "Edit".
- Click on “Step 1 - Edit Copy”
- Click on "Add another copy item" and enter in the new clock number details. (you can leave all pre-existing clock number details in place)
- Press “Save & Continue”
- On "Step 2 - Copy Relationships" click edit in the relevant detail block
- Click "Add Copy" to add the new clock number to the detail block
- Delete the previous clock number from the detail block
- Click “Save & Continue” and proceed to send the copy instruction
