CARIA restricts you from creating a single copy instruction from multiple bookings from varying media agencies and across differing clients. This is to ensure CRIs are set-up correctly with the right copy being instructed to play out against the right campaigns.
Recently media agencies have started to set-up bookings for a single client but with slight variances in the client name, this is to accommodate trading requirements with media owners.
An example of this is two bookings one with client name: Tesco and the other with client name Tesco (GAV)
Due to the multiple bookings being created for budget and trading reasons the likelihood is that both bookings are running the same copy.
It is possible to create a single CRI using both bookings by following these steps:
- On the home page click "View Inbox"
- In the inbox select one of the bookings you want to create a CRI for
- CARIA will filter the inbox based on the selection you've made and display all other bookings you can select to include on your CRI, including any that have slight client name variances.
- Locate the additional booking you want to include in the CRI
- Click on "Create CRI"
Points to note:
- CARIA will only allow you to multi-select bookings for a single CRI if the media agency is the same for both bookings
- You will only be able to multi-select bookings for a single CRI when the client names for both bookings begin with the same characters, see examples below:
- Client name 1 = TESCO, Client name 2 = TESCO (GAV) - You can merge these bookings into one CRI
- Client name 1 = TESCO, Client name 2 = GAV TESCO - You can't merge these bookings into one CRI as the prefix of the client name does not match.
