VOD bookings contain more granular detail than linear bookings, this is because they must include placement lines.
Placement lines (also referred to as line items) enable buyers to define highly specific targeting. Broadcaster systems require each placement line to have copy allocated to it.
Creatives can view VOD bookings in Caria, including placement line details.
You can follow these steps to create a CRI with copy allocated to the placement line:
- Select one or more VOD bookings in your inbox
- Press create CRI
- On Step 1 (Edit Copy) add all the clock numbers you want to include in this CRI
- On Step 2 (Copy Relationships) you will be presented with a set of detail blocks per VOD station. Each detail block will contain placement line details, clock numbers must be allocated to each placement line.
- If you have only entered one clock number on Step 1 Caria will auto-allocate the single clock to all detail blocks and placement lines.
- If multiple clocks were entered on Step 1 then you must manually allocate the relevant clock to each placement line. Be sure to allocate the right clock to the right placement line.
- Once all clocks have been allocated press Save & Continue
- Review your CRI and then send
Points to note:
- You can create hybrid linear and VOD CRIs, Caria will provide detail blocks split by media type
- You can allocate more than one clock number to each placement line. Ratio fields will be provided if you have multiple clock numbers of the same timelength
- You will be notified if the media buyer makes changes to placement line details once your CRI has been sent
