How to delete & cancel copy instructions – Caria Help

Creative users can delete copy instructions that have never been sent to the traffic departments.

To delete copy instructions, follow these steps:

In your outbox, select the copy instruction you wish to cancel.
Click "Delete" - a warning message will appear asking you to confirm the deletion. Click "OK" to proceed, and the copy instruction will be removed.

Please note, you can only delete entire copy instructions if they have never been sent to any media owner. If the copy instruction has already been sent to the traffic departments, you’ll need to either end the detail blocks at the earliest possible date or delete the detail block entirely and send the new version to the stations.

To delete detail blocks, follow these steps:

In your outbox, select "Edit" on the copy instruction you wish to modify.
Click "Delete" on the detail blocks you want to remove.
Press "Save & Continue."
Send the updated version to the stations.

Once a detail block has started the delete option is greyed out, therefore you will need to end the detail block for the earliest date possible.

To amend the dates, follow these steps:

In your outbox, select "Edit" on the copy instruction you wish to modify.
Click on the date range option under "Show More/Less Detail."
Since the CRI's start date has already passed, you won’t be able to change it. You will need to set the end date to the earliest possible (usually the current day).
Press "Save & Continue."
Send the updated version to the stations.

Notes:

*As per our agreement with the station, previously sent CRIs or approvals can't simply be deleted, as an audit version must be retained by both parties.
