VOD bookings require more granular targeting information than Linear TV bookings. To accommodate this you can add line items to VOD bookings and specify the targeting you require.
Follow these steps:
- On the budgets page in CARIA select a VOD site and enter in a budget
- Click on "Add Line Item", a line item panel will display on the right hand side of the screen
- Follow the steps in the line item panel, completing all mandatory fields. There is a notes field for any additional information
- The line item budget field will default to the budget value entered on the budgets page however you can override this and enter in the required budget for the line item
- CPMs can be auto-calculated based on the C4 and Sky targeting options you have selected - or you can enter them manually
- CARIA will auto-calculate your target impressions based on the budget and CPM
- Save the line item, you can add more line items if required
Points to note:
- Targeting information available in CARIA is defined by the media owner
- Media owner agency-specific ratecards are stored in CARIA to auto-calculate CPMs
- Auto-calculated CPMs can be overridden using the toggle above the impressions field
- The total budget allocated to all line items for a VOD site must match the budget entered on the budgets page
- Timelengths selected on the Campaign Header page will be available in line items. All timelengths must be allocated to a line item
- Line items can only contain one timelength
- Line items dates will default to the campaign dates on the booking, these can be edited as required
